Small Group Info

Starting a Bible study group in your home or elsewhere is one of the most important things you can do to help yourself and others grow spiritually.

It's as easy as 1-2-3.

1. Find a place to meet. It can be in your home, someone else's home, or another place where you won't be interrupted (like an office that's not being used).

2. Invite people to join your group. Tell your friends, neighbors, and co-workers that you are starting an informal Bible study and would like them to come. A small group is typically between 3 and 12 people.

3. Study something Biblical. Here are 3 options:

Option 1. Click on "Video Teachings" above to watch free Bible teaching videos specifically designed for your group study. Discussion questions next to the video can be printed. You can connect your computer to a TV so everyone can watch. After watching the teaching, ask the discussion questions and let your people share what they learned.

Option 2. Have everyone purchase a Christian book such as Slaying Your Giants to read and discuss. The book covers 20 topics and includes a free Discussion Guide for group studies with questions to stimulate discussion.

Option 3. Choose a book of the Bible such as Philippians and study it verse by verse.
